I’m following Ben Settle for a while now as I was introduced to him by some other business owners and marketers I know.
And the other day I had a friend and marketer sending me an email about a book he read, Super Villains Of Persuasion #2.
I thanked him for his recommendation and here I am, reviewing the book for you.
Super Villains Of Persuasion 2 – Review
The book is short but extremely interesting. There’s no fluff, it gets straight to the point and keeps the reader alert at all times.
How long did it take me to finish it?
Just one night, laying on the bed before sleep.
And that means a lot.
Ben Settle Background
Ben says about himself…Slacker email coach who routinely gets praised by the world’s highest-paid marketers and copywriters.
Email supremacist, book newsletter publisher, pulp novelist, software investor, alt-copywriter.
An Internet marketer, entrepreneur, email specialist, and author who writes about business, marketing, and selling – as well as the occasional twisted monster story.
He’s been praised by well-known entrepreneurs, marketers, copywriters, and industry leaders. Names like Danny Iny, Ray Edwards, Brian Kurtz, Russell Brunson, Ken McCarthy, Mark Ford, Ryan Lee, and others.
Ben’s Emails
His emails are most of the time very interesting and there’s a variety of topics he covers ranging from shouting out trolls and social media nerds, copywriting and persuasion secrets, influence, sales and marketing, book and movies mentions and analysis.
His writing is not conventional and some may say he’s unorthodox, or even scary and anti-professional.
The Book
It’s about helping you achieve anything you want:
- Money and wealth
- Power, status, and privilege routinely denied ordinary men
- A “ride-or-die” dame who always has your back
- The loyalty of others
- A higher paying job and professional security
- Greater respect
- A thriving business
- Peace of mind
- Even the world, if that’s what you want…
So if you want any of these I suggest you read the book as soon as possible. I’m not saying you’ll reach your goals, but it’s a great starting point.
What Is All About
There are 10 chapters. Every chapter introduces a new principle of persuasion.
I won’t reveal any of them. It would be a dishonor to the author of the book.
But I will give you a good preview of what to expect.
As Ben aka “Rood” says, this book is a happy hunting ground of movie, TV, and comic book story spoilers.
The Book’s Promise
You will have a special attribute not one in a thousand men possesses. It will give you a charisma you can use to go forth and conquer your enemies and achieve your Mission. It can help you charge more for what you sell, give you more prestige, status, and respect.
You’ll be able to attract people to you, seeking out your help, making them more open to your influence, it will make you a super villain of persuasion, too.
Mentions, References

He also mentions Dr. Larry Nassar, a depraved rapist who specialized in helping athletes for the USA gymnastics team, and molested dozens of those patients at his office and gym.
What You’ll Learn
What makes these villains so persuasive to those they rule and so dangerous to those they battle. What makes their enemies horrified.
How they manage to have mass influence, loyal henchmen, an impenetrable ‘force field’ around their egos.
What gives them drive and motivation to do things ordinary men can only dream of, what gives them influence over people who will eagerly want to help them.
How they persuade powerful men to change everything about themselves, how they control men who themselves have control over other men.
How they bend others to their will.
How To Use This Knowledge
The author highlights that there is also a flip-side to it all and that you must be careful how you use this knowledge. Some of the principles of persuasion don’t work for the majority of men and can take the form of wasteful and self-destructive things.
Or they can sabotage you if you don’t invest in them correctly.
The majority of the villains mentioned are bad and there are criminals that may very well be vile scumbags.
Ben underlines that you should not be bad at all in order to use this power. If used right, you can become a better person.
At the end of the book, there’s an exercise to strengthen your least used muscle…
Final Thoughts
A very powerful book that’s absolutely necessary for business owners, marketers, copywriters, salespeople, people with no confidence, people with a vision, people with dreams.
If you have big goals, I mean really big, this book will help you realize that actually your big goals are very limited.
That’s it, another review has finished, here on Web Market Support. I am waiting for your comments and thoughts. Till next time.
