#51 – RushingBee – WA Got me a Job Today!

Summary: Today I was accepted for the position of Blog Editor for a large website. It seems like a perfect fit for me, and I am over-the-moon excited to get started! Six months ago, though, I would not have been able to do this job. Heck, I would not have even been able to apply! The job requirements include all of the following: The only reason I know how to do ANY of these things is because of WA! If I had attempted the test assignment they had me do without the knowledge I’ve gained here, I would have been so baffled! But because I was familiar with all of it already, it was a breeze! I got 90% correct on the first try. I even gave you guys a shout-out in my application letter, which probably didn’t hurt my chances… 😉
I am also enrolled in a course for online business, where I am actively learning WordPress and keyword research for SEO, along with other related topics. I have the benefit of all the course resources as well as their knowledgeable community.
You never know where this training will take you!
These skills are invaluable in so many different areas. Even if you find that Affiliate Marketing may not be 100% right for you, keep learning. Don’t give up. There are so many opportunities that can arise as a result of this training.

Summary: Boy has time flown since I posted on my WA blog last. The last time I posted was when I made Vegas last year – 2015, and although I couldn’t attend, looks like those who did, had a great time and learned a lot. I had been waking up the last few days noticing how close I was getting to single digits on the airplane icon.
And when I woke up this morning, I saw this. Congrats, you have made Vegas! Yep, the airplane turns into a car. Here’s a fun fact. If you look at my previous post, you’ll see that I made Vegas around about the same time last year. Which is cool … or maybe … uncool, depending on how you look at it. 🙂 I was actually aiming to make Vegas earlier this year, only problem is, I didn’t do the necessary work to make it happen.

Summary: Rarely do I post blogs about how much I make from my affiliate efforts. I think I may have done this only two times before within the 5 years I have been a member. However this brief post will be such a blog and I am posting this because of a compliment I received that made me feel GREAT.
Lately I have been doing some freelance work for a local company who had a website but wanted one with SEO content. Their existing website was not getting any traffic. So I applied what I have learned here at WA and the owner of the company has been praising my work.
I realize it is hard to read so I will state them below with a bit more information.
The deposit at the top dated Sept. 22, 2018 is in the amount of $1,315.94 USD. This is the second and final payment for a WordPress website I created with SEO content for a local company.
The next depost down dated Sept. 9, 2018 is in the amount of $1,305.66 USD. This is the first payment for a WordPress website I created with SEO content for the same local company as above.
The third deposit below is a PayPal transfer dated Sept. 6, 2018 in the amount of $431.36 USD. This is a combination of commissions from the WA Affiliate Program and WBI Drop Shipping Training Affiliate Program for the month of August 2018.
The bottom deposit is another PayPal transfer dated Sept. 4, 2018 in the amount of $53.00 USD. This is a 10% commission from $530.00 in sales from my CBD Hemp Oil Affiliate Program for the month of August 2018. This commission was made without a website in this niche.
TOTAL EARNED IN SEPT. 2018 IS $3,105.96 USD

Summary: My August 2018 started off a doozie, faking me out in the beginning, making me think I was going to have a horrible month but it has pulled through with flying colors!
Blog Stats For August
August’s traffic increased and maintained more 1800+ users days this month with a high of 1,954 users as a high, not a record though.
USERS: 47,864 (18.3% increase from July)
SESSIONS: 54,837 (15.3% increase from July)
PAGEVIEWS: 73,708 (14.1% increase from July)
Number of Posts: 525
Number of Words: 862,518 (words of posts only)
Email List Subscribers: 10K (hit it on Sep 2)
August Income
Man, $69 shy of my next goal $5,000/month but I’m going to chalk this off as hitting it as my next income report won’t be til 5 figures.
August ends my 2 year mark for my website, so this is a good time to pause until I hit my next goal.
I have no clue what I need to do to achieve 5 figures, but I do have some loose ideas in mind that I’ll be working on remainder of this year.
Majority of my income comes from WA’s affiliate program as most of you know, but I still get questions wondering about this so I’ll mention this now.
Here are my stats for August:
Number of Referrals: 706 (record)
Number of New Sales: 61 (25% decrease), though last Aug/17 also took a dive but this conversion rate is more inline with what I usually get with this kind of MMO traffic.
Number of Recurring sales: 91 (42% increase & record) July had 64, last record.
Number of Yearly sales: 4 (1 less than July)
My new sales number is usually higher than my recurring sales, except for 2 month but wasn’t much higher than new sales.
To have 30 more recurring sales than new sales, that’s incredible! I was also surprised that I was able to get 4 yearly sales in Aug as well.

I remember how it was in the beginning… It actually took me 7 months before I made any money at all when I first started out here…
Anyway… I promised you to make a new one when I broke my previous record, and to be honest… this is actually not a record breaker, as it is from 2 commissions combined, however, for the fun of it we can call it the record breaker ;o) As they came on the same day :o)

I thought I would share this with you because today it’s a special day
Like many of you know, today is payday for all of those who are active recommending this awesome platform, so I imagine how excited those who have got paid their commissions are.
For me, it’s not been a normal payday, it’s also been my 23rd birthday! So it’s been the most exciting day of my year so far!
There are many things that I’m grateful for. I’m grateful to have been able to spend this day with my family, I’m grateful to exist and I’m also grateful to have the chance to work on my goals.
I’m not gonna lie, not everyday I smile like that. Sometimes I have a hard time focusing and letting go of past mistakes. I usually remember what I did wrong last year and I tend to overthink the reasons why I didn’t achieve the goals I had. For example, there’s no day that I don’t think about why I did not make it to the Vegas conference and I easily start feeling like a failure. But I guess it’s all good as long as I don’t stop trying.
Low conversion rates, lack of belief, limiting beliefs about money, my anxiety… It all plays a part. Those of you who also struggle with this, I hear you. You are not alone. If someone like me can make an income online, you can too. You can win the battle. Don’t let anything or anyone discourage you.
The training and tools on this platform work, even for those of us who are not in our best state.

If it doesn’t work it’s because you don’t want to put in the work to achieve anything. It’s as simple as that. You want the riches overnight without doing any work. Forget it and go and buy a lottery ticket then. You will never achieve anything thinking like that. You need to work at this and work hard you will.
