..our hero was looking at the pool in front of him , could not take his eyes off although he tried.He was alone waiting for his female companion to this “Forced” conspiracy , he was sure Anthony and Ewen were using him to get their revenge.

All of a sudden his mind flew back in time

He tried to avoid it , no , it was there , hunting him again…Nooooo , I want my peace , please , please.

Dizzy , his senses blurred , his body immobilized.He wanted to scream out loud , but there was no sound coming out.

Canary Islands were absolutely amazing during the spring time , but our hero was a fan of summer.Here , in Las Palmas , you could hardly watch any difference , temperature was pretty stable throughout the whole year.

This was a business trip , a meeting with new clients from Australia , a deal he had to secure by any means.He was ready to offer huge discounts in case the new partners tried to cancel their contract.He was informed that this company had a bright future.

Mike , his overseas manager , was excited , do not miss this one man and I will buy you tickets for Sydney Opera , in August.

Chloe accompanied him to the imperial entrance of this giant Hotel , she was nervous but very proud of her partner , she knew that this was a game to mean a lot.They walked through the lobby , smiling and asked for details in the reception.The meeting was about to begin in a few minutes , on the terrace.

3 hours later the good news inevitably made our couple feel relaxed … the contract was signed under very promising conditions , a new season for the Manufacture.

On the other side of the terrace there was a mini swimming pool but the bar was empty of people.Chloe noticed a girl playing with her toys next to the water.

I feel I want to have a swim , what you say , Chloe?

No , I am very tired , have not slept well this week , I’ll have a nap.You go ahead , enjoy..Give me the room card….Hey , look behind you , the girl is trying to reach the water with her hand, I bet she is nervous.

What the f..k?…I approached the pool , oh no , call an ambulance Chloe , and the stuff , hurry.

Chloe was shaking , watched our hero taking of his shoes , jumping into the water like a maniac.She screamed for help and tried to reach her phone.

I got in the bottom in less than 2 seconds , a female silhouette underwater , unconscious.I had to speed up my moves.I placed my arm around her body , over the shoulder and under the armpit.I pulled her out , the pool was not very deep , I had an easy job but the difficult part has just begun.

Tried to focus in an attempt to remember everything I learned during my training as a lifeguard.How should I proceed?…I smoothly placed her on the floor , setting her on the side , the safe position.Water was exiting her mouth.

The sun was heavy , my heart on fire , the girl was crying in despair.

Do it , do it damn you , don’t let this woman die …

I reached her palm , her pulse was very low , I had to proceed and channel oxygen to keep her brain live , I had to move fast.Every second was counting.

I put her back on the floor and got on top of her.Blowing and shaking her chest , I was scared , I was losing her.

I tried to speak to her and make her wake up from this nightmare , I knew she was there and fighting … it was tough.

I asked for the girl to hold her hand in a crazy reflection of “Hope”…

Her face pale , purple and swollen.She must have stayed over a minute underwater , good chances were not on our side.

I kept on trying and trying till I could not continue , few minutes later … had no more power … took some deep breaths to empower my muscles and thoughts…

… remembered my trainer in the class , keep saying to the group how he lost a young boy.

…You have to experience it in order to understand it fully , I am not wishing you to , but only then you realise how hard it is.If you can’t go on , don’t blame yourself , nobody can , you did what you could.

Exhausted I screamed , out loud , Noooooooooo

I pushed myself to retry , the girl was begging me through her eyes.I could not betray her.

Mamaaaaa …. please sir , please , help my mummy

This was more than emergent , professional help was absolutely necessary.

I stopped the moves and watched carefully for any improvement on her part , I would not tell what was going on … bad feelings surrounded my body , pulling Me under and under

I could hear people coming … 2 doctors approached the spot running , the younger one helped me stand and embraced me , good job sir , she is still alive.Let us continue from here

Monica shut the door and checked her phone calls , interesting she thought.

Her meeting with Chloe , damn , she almost forgot.I have to get there as soon as possible.
