    Due to this, it is essential to not just tag on the sales pitch at the end of the webinar, as this will be when audience concentration is at its least focussed. Instead, work your sales techniques into the narrative of your webinar, highlighting why customers should buy your products throughout the webinar.

    Use the right platform

    Opt for a webinar platform that allows you to share interactive links so that customers can purchase the products or services you are advertising throughout the webinar. It is also a good idea to use a platform that collects real-time behavioural data such as ON24, which allows you to evaluate the success of your sales webinar for next time.

    Demonstrate how your product or service solves a problem

    Sometimes it can be more effective to not just tell consumers how great your product is, but to show them! If it is a product you are selling, then you can achieve this with a product demonstration.

    If it is a service that you are promoting, then you can do this with a bit of storytelling. Use an example of a problem that your service solves, telling the story of how your service can help you overcome this issue. This will cement your service as the only logical option.

    Include a persuasive call to action

    If you don’t ask for your attendees to take some kind of action, the vast majority of them will do nothing. So, it’s highly recommended that you urge your attendees to take the desired action and do that repeatedly.

    Express clearly what you want them to do to get your product.

    Follow up

    Once the webinar is over, even if you have made the sale, it is essential that you follow up with your attendees. You can do this by emailing attendees a link to purchase the product you advertised at a special rate or asking them to fill out a feedback form that allows them to opt in to join a mailing list.
