So, this is the way to do business and marketing in 2022 and beyond, in the new Web 3.0 economy.
Yes, it’s right here and things changed, we can’t do business and marketing the way we did last year, and there are so many problems, issues, and challenges that we need to overcome as business owners, there is uncertainty, but don’t get scared.
And although we can’t rely on external user data, we can’t rely on advertising networks for traffic as they are not effective anymore, cookies are gone, users don’t want to share private information, they want to remain anonymous, they block advertisements, we don’t even know who opens our emails, there are changing laws and new regulations, and traditional marketing funnels don’t work so well, there are solutions and there are answers.
We just need to look in the right direction. And we need to realize that there is only ONE currency in the new world, a world less about stuff and things, a world more of experiences, and that’s TRUST.
And to build trust, we need to start listening carefully to our target market, being curious, and asking…QUESTIONS.
And by asking the right people the right questions at the right time, they will eagerly share not only their email address and name but even their phone number.
Now, there is a strategy that we can use with confidence, the #1 strategy, THE most effective strategy of asking the right questions and collecting sensitive information and user data at the same time.
And what makes people want to share information about themselves online? Questions about them, their needs and wants, showing that we care, giving them a helping hand to find exactly what they’re looking for.
And look around you, people love taking quizzes. Millions of quizzes have been built during the last years, why? Because they work so well for us, for business owners and marketing professionals, we get invaluable data and collect sensitive information that we can use in our business, and people get to know more about themselves and that’s what they care most about. Me, myself, and I.
But just building quizzes and promoting them online is not a real strategy. We need something behind the quiz, a base to build our marketing, and that’s a funnel, not a traditional one though, but one based on quiz questions, we call them quiz funnels.
Now, quizzes are mostly used at the top of the funnel as a method to drive awareness and generate leads and are based on a series of interesting, attention-grabbing questions.
Listen, this is important, not all questions work. We need to ask the right questions in a certain way in order to help our prospects and customers, collect data, gain insights, and be able to segment, tag, categorize if you will, the quiz participants into different buckets, different groups of people.
And when we do that effectively, when we build compelling, functional, well-performing quiz funnels, we can personalize experiences, follow up with content tailored to someone’s answers to provide value in advance, address their needs, and nurture them into our brand’s values, principles, and ethics. We also get information that we can use to improve our product line quality, create new products and services that the market needs, and solve people’s problems.
