Imagine yourself as a customer.I bet there are offline places and stores where you buy easier without even thinking about it.Your favourite restaurant , a nice and clean hotel , a local cafe , a fashion store with affordable prices.The same rules apply in the online world.You buy when you trust a website.

As an affiliate marketer you have a great opportunity to review products and services as we already discussed.Online visitors searching for personal reviews more than ever before.They want to gain insights from those who tested these products.They seek information they can not find anywhere else.

Tips To Approach The Potential Customers 

 

This is not a concrete list that WILL convert every potential customer.These are techniques that I and many other marketers tested and proved that are working,You can be creative and unique in your way by examining new methods constantly.

 

♦ Promote only products & services you feel proud of

That experience will be reflected to your writing.Do not offer products that you feel insecure or you are not 100% sure of their quality “Just For The “Sake Of Money”.Put yourself in the shoes of the customer.You don’t want to destroy your reputation for a few extra dollars.Share products that will be proved valuable to your readers , not because of their popularity.Always keep an eye on your merchants and update any important information and future changes.

♦ Give a thorough description of the product and its aspects

 

.A potential buyer won’t proceed if you just “Claim” that a product is perfect and that you used it.In this modern era people are already over deluged with promotions and “Super Offers”.Share the necessary product’s details and the price.Define the special characteristics that set your offer apart of the competition.

♦ Describe the potential and its solutions.

 

Don’t leave your visitors in the dark.Why is this product valuable?…How can they benefit?…People will buy if a product is going to change their lives to the better , if they will save time , if they improve…Show … don’t just tell…Be passionate and unique with your own voice.

♦ Give the pros and the cons.

 

No product or service is perfect.For me ,perfect does not even exist.If existed then we won’t be talking right now and there won’t be left any room for improvement.But humans , animals , plants , planets always evolve.Describe what is missing from the product you are promoting.

Even if a product is so great structured with almost zero negative elements on a fabulous price still you can present your own point of view.Describe what you expect in the future from the producers.What you want to see changed.If you found complaints from others present them in your review.

This section will add to your authority and status and therefore customers will start to trust you.Although they know that you are affiliated with this product , they will admire you for being “Neutral” and sharing the bad details along with the shiny ones.

♦ Compare it to other products.

 

Even if you found the greatest product on earth that does not mean that your customers understand the true meaning.Give them examples to compare.They can expand upon the differences.They now can analyse data , you open a path.Which is the product’s advantage over the competition?…Why should they choose product A over B.?…

♦ Offer a bonus in co-operation with your merchant.

 

But in no way rush customers to jump into conclusions.Do not describe a bonus as time limited. , if possible.Naturally inform about the bonus details and how it can be proved an extra element for their overall satisfaction.Do not spend much time on this part , you want to “plant the idea of a bonus” into their subconscious.Later when they will be examining the product features the bonus option will trigger their thoughts.

♦ Offer a free trial 

 

That depends on what the product is and the policy of the developers but when a producer is very proud of its creation will be offering some free trial (period , sample) without asking for credit card details at all.I am always trying to discover products including this special option.And it is a very important one.Because now the potential customer has the opportunity to test it for free.He can make the decision knowing what exactly it is about.Damn…he can’t even argue with you later on.

I feel awesome when I can test something before to buy.Additionally I tend to react positively even before the test.Products with Free Trials convert way better than others , I think this is a fact.

♦ Disclose the endorsement.

 

As I mentioned in the very previous post in order to be totally secured against the law , include on your website a disclosure document.Moreover on every promotional page or post that contains affiliate links inform the visitors of the situation.This means you are clean , following the regulations and that you have no problem in sharing these details with your audience.That definitely adds to your portfolio.

♦ Open space for discussion.

 

Your visitors need to contact someone when they have questions.Not only … starting a productive dialogue with your visitors will help new visitors decide.They can hear new voices beyond yours , negative or positive comments do matter a lot.Someone might think that your offer is not so great , it is your chance to describe why you insist on your position.That will increase your authority drastically.

Do answer your comments , you are not a celebrity (yet).Some times you won’t be able to answer all of them , but stay active and participate in the comments section regularly.

♦ Offer after sales service.

 

Although you are not directly selling the product , this is the merchant’s responsibility  , you want to become a true and complete entrepreneur.Inform your visitors to give you feedback in cases they proceed with your offers.Clarify that your website is open for them 24 / 7.They might have questions , why not coming back to you?…The word of mouth is precious.Imagine them satisfied describing to their network your services and your loyalty.

♦ Keep a low promotional ratio.

 

I will repeat myself here but I think it is necessary.No every page / post on your affiliate website should consist of promotions.Provide value , great content and then try to sell.This process of creating unique content is unstoppable.It is the root of this business model.

Your visitors will refer you more people if you are not acting like a desperate salesman.According to Google the best way to achieve good rankings is to build a community among your users.An affiliate website is an information channel , open for discussions and its content is always updating and refreshing. 

♦ Stay active on social media.

 

There are no excuses for that , every affiliate marketer should have a strong presence in the market.If you stay outside other marketers will pass you by in the blink of an eye.Make connections with other entrepreneurs , customers and even influencers.

Follow your customers’ questions and try to participate by offering your insights.People are discussing with each other , imagine if a potential customer that visited your website , exposed to your offer but still is not ready to buy to notice you socially active or someone else talking about you.

Never use the social media only for self promotion and links to your website and that only.Share other people’s content as well , and offer valuable and engaging material.You are looking to start conversations and attract people to your shares.
