Publishing content in a consistent basis can be really hard …No , I mean really really tough.A lot of marketers struggle at some point , dried out of new ideas and thoughts.But how can we attract new visitors?…How can we create a brand name for our company?…are questions that torture many professionals around the globe.

This is where content curation comes into play.And this is a technique that I am following for a very long time through my social media channels.And is working just fine , the engagement I get is increased (in most cases).


Besides I do not want to bombard my followers only with content that I created.That would be too boring , don’t you think?…On the other hand is a great way to honour those that started before you and to attract new visitors by exposing quality content from the experts.

A lot of marketing agencies use this method on their blogs , in alliance with their own content.

My Take


Within the dashboard there is a tab called “My community”…I was surprised to find people that I am connected with on social media.

I searched for a keyword in my favourite WA keyword tool and came up with …“Best jobs while in College”…Besides it is a topic that I promised to blog about when I published a related article..

I added 5 more similar keywords that are in demand using the WA tool and pressed

The app is suggesting topics that you can use.If you like any of the resources you just hit and add them to your portfolio.

On every article there are stats about its social media performance.I am sure you will choose to go with the popular ones.

On the top right corner there is a small red button displaying a number with suggestions.

On the left is the filter area with which you can manage your preferences.For example you can sort results based on freshness or relevance.

Another feature is that you can choose from articles , documents , pictures , videos , social networks and user suggestions.

But in that case , do not embed the whole article and just that.Embed a part of it to begin a conversation with your readers.Explain why you chose that particular topic and discuss with them or ask questions.Add your own insights and complete the topic in a creative way.


You can however use their services to embed content from your website to the community.A lot of users do that , but they are not only promoting themselves , they share content from other sites as well.So that makes like another social network , there are people visiting this website on a daily basis.This means you are getting exposed to more people.

I just started yesterday and my very first curated article received 6 visits so far , in a few hours.Looks like a good result to me.


Another important feature is that you can automate the process of sharing curated content by adding your social accounts in the dashboard.With one click you can get this content shared automatically to multiple destinations.


I will continue with the free membership to check things out so that I better understand the value of their services.

This program is very valuable. I am constantly using it on a daily basis for over a year now. It only takes me 3 minutes to overview my feed and notifications. I have only 1 board that I add my own content and I curate material from other websites as well.

I have gained many backlinks on my website as my content is being reshared on the community. Additionally I receive traffic that is interested in my content, the statistics inside the Google Webmasters tool and Google Analytics are very satisfying.


For that matter I prepare a training. Stay tuned.!
